Oh my God ...

How was the snow? It looks really solid.

Have you guys ever experienced the "twin east-facing chutes" on Deseret Peak near
Grantsville, Utah?

Man, that's some "killer" snow for June! !

Re: Oh my God ...

The snow was smooth and solid....just the way we like it for this time of year. Funny you should mention Deseret Peak. We were just about to head there yesterday but Troy rolled his ankle and then I got stabbed (accidently) through the cheek with a SI in Karate. Going skiing at White Pine Fork tomorrow to make for the lost turns. Happy Trails out there Larry

Re: Oh my God ...

Sorry for the unfortunate twist of events!

Are you talking about the White Pine in
the Wasatch? That's too cool for school !!!

Here's wishing you "safer" trails !

Re: Oh my God ...

Yep, the one in the Wasatch. As far as I know the Wasatch White Pine Fork is the biggest White Pine in Utah. Thinkin about skiing either the Tri Chutes or Red Baldy.

Re: Neat pic.

The rocks are starting to show up in the choke (just after the apron/just before the left turn into the couloir). They are very climbable, for I have passed through there in years past. Other than that there is still snow lots of snow for this time of year. Happy Trails
