How I Wish U Were Here

How I Wish U Were Here

"So you think you can tell Heaven from Hell, Blue skies from pain. Can you tell a green field from a cold steel rail? A smile from a veil? Do you think you can tell? How I wish, how I wish you were here. We're just two lost souls swimming in a fish Bowl, year after year..." Roger Waters (1975) Crossbedding of sandstone layers on the north side of Padre Bay indicates the deposition of ancient sand dunes. Time continues to eat away at Cookie Jar Butte, filling the blue waters of Lake Powell (in Kane County, Utah) with sand. Photo courtesy of Gary Ladd, taken several years past when periods of drought greatly effected the lake's water level. In 2008, the lake is currently rising at 12 (vertical inches) per day, and is expected to peak at 63% of capacity by August. Is there still sand left in your hourglass???

..over the same old ground.
What have you found? The same old fears.
Wish you were here. Larry, love your choice of music. Who is Riger Waters though, was he in Floyd? LOL. Larry, have you seen the Pink Floyd Pulse disc live from Earls Court(1994)? F***ing Awesome!
Later, Larry

Re: Running..

LOL... Stephen, I'll take your good advice.
But, I have one thing left to say:

"Home, home again.
I like to be here when I can.
When I come home cold and tired,
It's good to warm my bones beside the fire."

Re: Running..

Glad to hear it! You're probably having a
better time than posting things on the
forum page, with the rest of the blooming
idiots & numbskulls. Have a GOOD one!! :)
