Hasn't voted | It's a classical viewpont on Jalovec - a 1h hike from Vrsic Pass. But perhaps only once each year there are such colours, some fresh snow, clear day ... | | Posted Oct 28, 2004 5:13 am |

Voted 10/10 | Wow Vid, you've captured legendary panorama from Sleme in fantastic way! This one is going to decorate the Jalovec page! | | Posted Oct 27, 2004 8:30 pm |

Hasn't voted | Thank you, Sasa! I had a few similar pictures from here before, but are so poor, that I knew it was necessary to go here on one such day and make new ones for SP. | | Posted Oct 29, 2004 2:24 pm |

Voted 10/10 | Parfect one. I have seen only phptos from there (not so good ones like your) and I have to enjoy to myself once. Very good ROK | | Posted Oct 29, 2004 2:41 pm |

Hasn't voted | Thanks, Rok! For this picture you just needed to lie deep down to the pond level... | | Posted Oct 30, 2004 7:55 am |

Voted 10/10 | It's great. Compliments you're skilful and lucky because weather conditions shown in picture are rare.

Hasn't voted | Thanks, Ugo! Yes, I was here many times, but was waiting long on a such nice day. On such a day you don't know where to go - you'd like to be everywhere :-) | | Posted Jul 25, 2005 8:24 am |

Hasn't voted | Thanks, Viktor! But this is not a very creative motif. Everyone in Slovenia knows it and it is on every calender. But I dedicated to this small hike a whole nice autumn day :-))

Voted 10/10 | one of the best pics I have seen on this site of any mountain! I need to go back and see it. | | Posted Dec 16, 2007 8:00 am |
 | | Vid Pogachnik | Re: stunning | |
Hasn't voted | Thank you! It's a great mountain and a famous view, but the picture is also a fake. The pond is veeery small ;)

| EricChu | Beautiful colours! | |
Voted 10/10 | ...and a truly great photo of the Jalovec, even if, if I understood correctly, you arranged the foreground a bit! :-) | | Posted Nov 6, 2009 12:19 pm |
 | | Vid Pogachnik | Re: Beautiful colours! | |
Hasn't voted | Thanks Maurice! What do you mean that I arranged the foreground a bit? The whole picture is a little photoshopped regarding contrast, but otherwise it's as it is in nature. Ponds are very small, so I almost plunged into water to take such a low perspective. Everything is real, nothing is added or removed.
Cheers!

Voted 10/10 | I see...oh well, sorry - It's 'cause you had written in a reply that "the picture is a bit of a fake...the pond is tiny in reality", but having read your message to me I can see I misunderstood completely! Please accept my apologies...To be honest, nothing in that picture ever looked "fake" to me, so I was a bit puzzled when I read the sentence you had written... | | Posted Nov 6, 2009 7:44 pm |
