| There was a time when I lived in Colorado, hiked a lot, and could climb mountains like these fairly easily. That time has passed. Now that I live in Alabama, and this being my first climb up a Colorado mountain in 3 years, my lungs burned all the way up. I enjoyed it nonetheless! | |

| Snow shoes all the way to and from. Started up a 9:53AM, up an over St Mary's Glacier, through some high winds, past the rock pile, across the tundra, went a bit too far right and ended-up on a bare/rocky slope but soon found some large cairns. Reached the summit at 1:02PM. Glorious day, crystal clear skies with unlimited visibility. Back to the parking lot at 3:04PM. Sweet!! | |

| Finally after many attepmts (1. Whiteout, 2. Cold, wind, 3. Car sliding backwards down the hill), the pup, the wife and I finally were successful. Also hiked over the bump known as Kingston, and scrambled to the top of Fox Mountain which held great views of St Mary's Glacier. | |
