Although it appears that the weather was deteriorating, this was just a temporary condition. Overall it was a beautiful day, and the only issue with the weather was that it was well above zero. For climbing such a steep ice/snow face, freezing temperatures would have been safer and made it easier. As this photo shows, there were rocks higher on the face, and one of the problems we had to deal with was that occasionally one of those would come whizzing past us... 6 July 2014.
