Started near one of the campgrounds at an Angler Parking pullout (next to road bridge) and bushwhacked towards the peak in swampy marshes. The upper ridge was some fun scrambling.

From Colorado Trail
Carol and I took the pleasant hike along the trail to where there is a gate and bushwhacked up the north ridge. I did both summits as the southern one is shown as higher on the map. Apparently it is not as it is obvious once you are on point 10,511.

Great little peak!! After doing a loop of Whale and Co at Jefferson Lake, I stopped here. Parked near the campground, went straight east to the base of the north ridge. Traversed the top, some fun class 3 scrambling. Descended same way, but followed the CO trail out.

Fantastic peak
What a great surprise! No idea what a great ridge this peak was. Really enjoyed it after viewing it for years from Kenosha Pass/285.

Via north slopes
We had "chores" day at the cabin: Chimney sweep, septic pump, interview the dog sitter, clean stuff, etc. I needed to get out of the "cabin fever" for a few, so I hopped down Park CO 77 to this nice little hill. The summit scramble was a pleasant surprise! Partner: Bing the boo-dawg.
