In the village of Karteis you deter from ther main valley of Grossarl towards the north, into the ravine of Karteisgraben, where the trailhead for the tours aound Gurenstein is. And a question: Besides being so cute, what can such a smal church be used for? June 29th, 2014.

Yes. It's hard to say, I should see it again, if it is Croix de Chemin. In our countries we have often god signs on crossroads, but almost never in a form of churches. Here, in Grossarltal, I saw also some other very small churches. I remember one on a slopes of a meadow, where there certainly was not a road or path. Interesting.
