That is cool

I’ve met volunteers of HawkWatch International in the Wellsville Mountains. The hawks seem to like the ranges in northern Nevada and Utah.

Re: That is cool

Thanks, MG. The HWI folks are a great, dedicated bunch -- what a labor of love! This was a wonderful experience and we'll be back up there next year as well. Would like to spend more than one night there, but that's what our schedule allowed this year.

Anyone willing to

volunteer time in mountains to help birds are
shining examples of outstanding people.

Is it true? A bird in the hand is worth two
in the bush?

Re: Anyone willing to

The HawkWatch folks are a great, dedicated bunch. We'll be making the trip up there again next year, hopefully for more than one night. Yes, I'd say there's a lot of truth to that saying, especially in today's world.
