Approach

From Toppe del Tesoro go down along ski footstep toward the Stazzo Antone Rotondo. Reached it is revolved on the left the stazzo and the slope on the back . Always maintaining yourself in plain, avoiding the numerous latches you come at the base of the wall

Dalle Toppe del Tesoro si prende la pista da sci che scende verso lo Stazzo Antone Rotondo. Raggiuntolo si aggira sulla sinistra lo stazzo ed il dosso retrostante. Mantenendosi sempre in piano, evitando i numerosi saliscendi si giunge alla base della parete

Route Description

The route, climbed in first absolute on March 19 th 2004 by D. Capostosto and M. Santini, is developed for 200 meters gradient and 300 meters development to the left of the evident rocky blocks that characterize the NE wall Monte Greco. They are possible 4 standstills on the rocky spikes that as islands are hacked in the middle of the snow of the slant. This begins with moderate inclination (30°) but already after the first standstill it reaches 50° and in the final line, below the terminal frame, it reaches 65°


La via, salita in prima assoluta il 19 marzo 2004 da D. Capostosto e M. Santini, si sviluppa per 200 metri di dislivello e 300 metri di sviluppo alla sinistra degli evidenti blocchi rocciosi che caratterizzano la parete NE del Greco. Sono possibili 4 soste sugli spuntoni rocciosi che come isole si stagliano in mezzo alla neve del pendio. Questo iniizia con pendenza moderata (30°) ma già dopo la prima sosta raggiunge i 50° e nel tratto finale, al di sotto della cornice terminale, raggiunge i 65°.

Crampons, ice axes and a rope of 60 meters. A 50-meter does not reach the third stop.




Ramponi, piccozza ed una corda di 60 metri. Una di 50 metri non consente di raggiungere la sosta 3.
