| Dundeel | Multnomah County Prominence Point ![]() Date Climbed: Jun 9, 2012 | |
| Summit parking lot had an inch or two of fresh snow, in June! The summit rock was a little slick and snowy but not too bad. No view due to the low clouds. | ||

| TyC | Loop ![]() Date Climbed: Jul 30, 2011 | |
| Did a loop from the top parking lot back around to the view point at the summit. Went down Larch mountain trail till the junction with mult. creek trail and followed that up 2.7 miles till hitting another trail that went back to larch mountain road. Hiked up the road and hit the parking lot. 6.9 miles 1400 feet gain logged on gps | ||

| A great place to get some back country turns in on the backside into late May, some of the best Mt. biking around, and the hikes have great views! | ||

| runbyu1 | Multnomah-Triple Falls Loop Unbelievable ![]() Date Climbed: Feb 20, 2010 | |
| One of the best trail runs I've ever been on. Brian and I ran up from Multnomah and summitted in just under 1 1/2 hours and then took the route back down the gulch with Triple falls...pretty dang incredible. Views on top are stunning...too bad people can get most of the way there by car. | ||

| 1 1/2 hours... Shit... I am slow. It usually takes me 3 hours from the parking lot to the upper parking lot... I feel old... | ||

| Miroslava | Beautiful hike from Multnomah Falls ![]() Date Climbed: Sep 2, 2010 | |
| This hike was spectacular! Enjoyed it even more than the popular Eagle Creek area next day. Walked a bit, slept a bit, woke up at the top to take in the views, was quiet and a bit worried on the way down in the dark. I set a new personal record for elevation gain on this hike! | ||

| mradventure | Mult Falls to summit ![]() Date Climbed: May 17, 2008 | |
| Great day. Cool in the trees, warmer as the sun rose. Hit snow about 25oo ft. Lots of snow at the summit, probably a good 10ft+. Trail markers at the level of the snow. Few trees down between 2500ft and 3000ft. No snowshoes needed but may help with long hike in soft snow. Rivers are roaring more than ever. Getting ready for Hood in a couple weeks. | ||

| YEM | Larch Mt. Trail/Road/Oneonta Trail ![]() | |
| One of the best trails in the Gorge. I love the upper Mult. basin and the Bell Creek trail. As for the view: hop the fence, stand on the real summit and try to get there on a clear winter day to avoid the RV crowd. | ||

| BSPclimber | Route Climbed: from upper parking lot ![]() Date Climbed: Oct 9, 2006 | |
| Tagged the summit from upper parking lot, weak I know, but we had very little time. Nice day, but very windy at the summit. (40+ mph winds) | ||

| I was joined on the first part of the trail by a bus load of school children from Beaverton Junior High. Nice waterfalls on this hike. I made it to the summit in the rain and clouds even though it started out as a sunny day. It was still a nice mountain to climb. | ||

| onandupwards | Cold & Wet on Larch Mtn. ![]() Date Climbed: May 7, 2006 | |
| Climbed from Multanomah falls on a wet May day. Heavy rain & mist on the summit obscured all views. Suggest all spring climbers to be fully prepared for how cold it gets when you're on snow, soaked, it's 35 degrees up top, and the wind is blowing! Heard some suspicious (Sasquatch?) low repeated whistling noises parallelling me from 3k to 3.8k vert, both up and down, and some large animal breathing..uh oh..need to acclimatize better next time. | ||

| That low pitched whisteling noise is the mating call of the "mountain chickens".. Or grouse as they are also known as... As far as the large animal breathing, I too have heard this, but usually it's actually me.... How funny how the mind can wander sometimes when you are hiking solo.... | ||
