| Nice skiing peak, northwest side has nice powder stashes when things are meager elsewhere, south side is a great line with new snow, northeast side is notorious avalanche path, I'll attach a photo showing one. | ||

| 02/15/07 With Brent, Lana and Kim. Whiteout conditions along with sub-20 temps and winds gusting to 30 mph made for interesting going. 02/03/07 Blue skies but strong ridge-top winds. We made a loop with various members of the WMC. Mill D North to Dog Lake, Little Water Peak, south along a long ridge line and down to Desolation Lake, then out to the original trail. Thanks to our leader, Mohammed A. | ||

| I decided to give Little Water Peak a try after climbing Reynolds Peak. If I had been smart I would have come back later with snowshoes. I sank up to my knees with every step. It took me a while but I made it to the top. I could even see the Uintas Mountains quite clearly. I saw one other hiker on the way out. It did feel a little odd to be hiking alone on such a popular trail. | ||
