Nice Job!!!

Really nicely done! The Mac's are some of my favorite mountains anywhere.
A couple of notes from the ADK guide book..
Whales Tail Mt is also part of the Mac's (not on SP)
and
The range is named for Archibald McIntyre, a big player in the Thawaus Iorn Works but some where along the way an "a" got added to the name of the range. MacIntyre in the offical name of the Range even though the guy's name was McIntyre

Re: Nice Job!!!

Thanks for the kind words and for checking out the page. The White Mountains used to be my favorite in the east, but I think the Mac's have taken over that spot now in my heart! Anyways........I'm working on a whole history page that I'll be posting in the near future, so I'll let you know when it's up. Thanks again and take care!

Re: Nice Job!!!

I can't compare the Dacks with the Whites (having never been there...Hopefully NEXT summer)but from what people have told me the Dacks either are more wild or have more of a wilderness feeling that the whites. But I do love the ADK's; the High Peaks area is great but the Central Mts are the best...check em out if you ever get a chance.
Later, Rob

Yo - question for you guys ...

How many "lightning-related" T-storms does the 'MacIntyre Range'
actually receive, in comparison to the areas further north, such
as Niagara Falls and around the Can-US border ??
