Looking back up at the summit block of Mad Wolf Mountain, photo taken as we descended into the broad basin that drains to the north. If you are ascending from this spot, aim for ridge top just to the left of the summit block. There is a short, obvious class III gully that provides easy access to the top. August 22, 2010
