The lake gets its amazing color from glacial "flour" running into it from the Chaney Glacier up above. The outlet stream of Ipasha Lake, also fed partially by a glacier, runs into it as well. Glacier National Park, MT-- August 2012

This shot captures some of the things I like best about GNP and I love that you can even see the white caps on the lake.
