Mount Moran seen from the summit of the Grand Teton.
Photos and video from a trip up the CMC route on Moran i did back in August of 2011. We took 2 days to do the climb, and had perfect weather the whole way up. The summit was ridiculously calm. A truly classic Teton experience.
A wildfire visible from the base of CMC route on Mt Moran. We had to canoe across Leigh lake to reach the base of the climb.

The crux of the CMC route of Mount Moran-Drizzlepuss YDS:5.5. On the ascent it is a simple rappel, but on the descent from Morans summit, you are forced to climb Drizzlepuss.

JD descending the CMC face unroped. It was pretty easy down climbing, although there were a few spots I wished I was rappelling.
The wildfire seen on the descent. When it got dark we could see the fire glowing in the distance.
I agree wholeheartedly! Exhausting as hell though in 2 days!
