Never heard of it...will be on my list now though, so much like southern Utah...might even hit it in October on the way down...very interesting place to climb....cool addition
It's about time! I have been waiting for someone to post a page for Garden of the Gods. You would never know that this is under construction. Nine route pages! This is one of the places that really drew me to Colorado Springs and has taken on a lot of sentimental value for me over the past year. Sunset at GOGs is too special after a long day at work.
Incredible page, thanks for the effort. The history section, geology, photos, everything. Not to mention routes and how-to-get-there practical stuff. All superb reading.
I have not climbed but visited on several occasions, hiking and birding. Initiallly it was "ah, the place is a tourist trap like the rest of the Springs". Wrong, an amazing place. Love it there.

Untitled CommentOutstanding! This is an area that needs to be on SP. I've passed by it many times and never made it there.

Untitled CommentThanks, Nelson. It is a tourist trap, but it's so amazing that it really doesn't matter.
