Mt Superior in B&W

Mt Superior in B&W

***Picture taken by Miro (a good friend), not me*** I wish I had taken this though. Miro and I had hiked to the top of Mt Wolverine to access and ski the The Huge Chute in the cirque. He happened to have brought his Canon. I did not. I scanned his slide (film unknown but probably a Fuji) and converted to grayscale in PhotoImpact. 1997. I have since posted the color (original) version here

Wow!

You passed me some kind words about my B&W of Mt. Superior, but I have to say I think one is better. The clouds create a neat feeling to the photo.

Re: Wow!

Thanks! Wish I would have taken the pic although it does look much better in b&w vs. the original color version.

The south ridge route looks really awesome in this photo. Now I want to climb it again!

Re: WOW!!

Thanks! I pretty much exclusively shoot color slide film and prefer color to B&W. But sometimes the results look better in B&W. Like this one.

Re: SICK shot

Fitting! Skiing Superior is a classic Wasatch line but it is prone to sliding 'cause it faces south.
