Uinta Photos

Here are some pictures taken in the Uintas, mainly during hikes to the summit of Bald Mountain (7/26/08), the lakes around Mount Watson (7/11/09), Ruth Lake & Fehr Lake (6/26/10), and Ibantik Lake (7/5/10). They all start along the Mirror Lake Highway in the western part of the range.

Great stuff!

That part of the Uintas is pretty busy, but a great place anyway. You captured it very well.

Thanks! It was fun visiting that area, and I can see why so many people were there. It has a very different feel from the Wasatch, but is still close enough to do dayhikes, which is nice since we still haven't gotten into backpacking yet.
