I am impressed at how the details managed to be so crisp in full resolution for a night shot. Now that I got a new camera (first detachable lens style) I should try to get more into night photography. Thanks for the inspiration Paulo. Stay strong.

Thanks Josh,
Did you see the other one? The one with 15 minutes of exposure? Even better.

I saw on facebook you got a new camera. Super small and good. But in order to do shots like these with not much trouble you need a remote control plug, does this camera have it?

Well, you can use this new camera and work on stacking to do dozens of short exposure shots (30" each) and then put it together in photoshop, another way...

:)

I have a remote timer which I didn't quite figure out. Unfortunately the camera I had it for broke. But the good news is that my mom has the exact same model so I can still attempt to figure it out. Been busy lately but eventually I plan on getting into it. Especially with the new camera.

Good luck on that, and if you need any help, you know where to find me. :)
Waiting for some star trails from you.
Honestly I thought mine would have more impact, seems like not so much hehehe
Cheers!

Keep in mind that people prefer lit up pictures, I've learned this years ago. Fortunately I still take my night shots for the few folks who appreciate them more than your average photograph. Certainly a time of day (or should I say night) that does not see enough photos of.

Oh yeah, pretty normal situation now. We could always see some more shots like these...
