Overview

Most direct path up the ridge from the Banner Peak - Peak 3497 saddle.

Getting There

Easiest way to get there is from either Garnet Lake or Lake Ediza. The Garnet Lake side is a bit shorter.

Route Description

From the saddle, climb up to a wide ledge that will extend up and off to the left (north). Follow the ledge up and climb up the small wall at the top of it, then continue hopping up small ledges and rocks to the summit.

Essential Gear

Nothing more than a sturdy pair of boots and a standard pack for water, food, etc.

Parents

Parents refers to a larger category under which an object falls. For example, theAconcagua mountain page has the 'Aconcagua Group' and the 'Seven Summits' asparents and is a parent itself to many routes, photos, and Trip Reports.
