Route Description

Hike up the main trail leading out of the White Pine Trailhead. This is actually an old mining road converted to a trail that terminates at White Pine Lake, about 5.1 miles from the trailhead. From the lake, scramble up the large class 2 boulders angling left and towards the ridgeline. Eventually the white granite rock begins to change into a red quartzite, and finally one gains the twin summits.
The route gains 3,467 ft from the trailhead.
