Lovely!Swallowtails have such a graceful flight. It looks completely effortlees. They seldom seem to land on lower plants and it's hard to take a good picture of them most of the time.
I love the sharpness and colors in your photo. Excellent job!

Very striking...There must be several species that are
closely related. In the western US, the
larvae or catapillars feed on the leaves
and stems of willows and aspen.

A perfect specimen!I had the luck of seeing a beautiful one last summer in the Salzkammergut - only it's right wing was injured...
