On Grand Mountet; still half an hour away from the hut
It was more or less 8:20 p.m. by then on that July 15th (2011), and the last part of the trail to the Grand Mountet hut led over this wide scree-field with an absolutely awesome view to several of the main summits of the Pennine Alps! Here on the picture one sees Obergabelhorn (4063m) and Mont Durand (3713m), with the Glacier Durand below.
