Sometimes ...We can't let inclement weather get the best of
us.

weather - a state of mind?the thing is Larry, when you have waited a long time for a trip to the hills and opportunities are not too frequent, you just have to do it whatever the weather. (within reason of course).
A soaking never really hurts you if you're reasonably wind proof.
cheers Johnnie

Re: weather - a state of mind?Well put, Johnnie.
I used to love hiking in the rain, just to see if I could do it. Then, I got old and didn't go when it rained. Now, I don't mind the rain so much, but I hate the mud. Such is life.
cheers, Marc

Re: weather - a state of mind?Hi Marc,
The great things about being in the mountains in bad weather are the increased feelings of achievement in overcoming the elements and the delight when the weather clears, the views amaze and the air feels so clean.
cheers Johnnie
