Only The River Knows

The Verde River (River Green) flows passively past walls of conglomerate and limestone upriver from Verde Falls. If you're taking a raft or kayak down this river, remember that you must negotiate some swift-moving water immediately downstream, after rounding the next bend. And while you're at it, try your best to have some fun, for crying out loud!

Very nice shot

and what a beautiful area. If it weren't for the ripple on the water for not getting the mirror image, this would be an outstanding photo. A great variance of colors. Very, very nice!

That's right! How are things going over there
in wine country? The California poppies must
be popping up everywhere!

I need to take some "pretty flower" pictures!

The women just love pretty flower pictures.

It's been low to mid 70's! and yes many flowers are budding and blooming. And the wine is always superb, especially the "reds"

I'm sure things are also beautiful in southern Nevada.

Even though it's harder to find gainful
employment, but I suppose if a person had
the right talents, they could go very far..

It might be called Verde River, but your shot makes all colours stand out. Nice photo...

Absolutely right! I think I added too much
saturation in photo-shop.

I'm learning not to do that so much.
