AlpinistUltimate trekking poles

Voted 5/5

These are the ultimate trekking poles, with all of the best features combined into one model. The extended grips are great for choking up when hiking in deep ruts on either dirt or snow. The ergonomic grips keep the wrist at a comfortable angle. The shock absorption reduces impact on the arms. The poles come with a carbide tip, rubber caps (for better traction on granite), and interchangeable baskets (summer/winter) to aid with hiking over a variety of different terrain.

Leki trekking poles are made to very high quality standards. They've set the benchmark to which all other poles are compared.

Voted 5/5

I bought these poles after reading this page....
I had the for a few months, and I put them to work on hard terrain.
Steep rock and glacier routes, they performed great!
I did not have the problem I had with other models, when under heavy weight for a sudden movement they bent or broke.
A+++
