Swiss watch maker Tissot has created a watch with a tactile crystal that allows multi-function capabilites. Altimeter, thermometer, barometer, compass and chronograph.
Stellar altimeter. I trust the altimeter on this watch more than trust my GPS. It does need periodic (before a trip) calibration, which is a super simple task. For all you gadget buffs, the barometer works very well too. Bad weather (hands point to 11:00) - good weather (hands point to 2:00).
