Features

This book covers 35 hiking routes in Austrian province
of Tirol, most of them in Stubai Alps and Karwendel
ranging from loop-around hikes, waterfall and lake hikes,
up to scrambles and summit routes over the protected paths.

Way the book is written, its clear that targeted buyers
are family people who from time to time take their children
with them.
All routes are are described in unlavish manner, without
going too much into details.
Still, trail difficulty, the time required,
altitude difference, traffic connections,
accomodation tips and reccommended topomaps are provided
with every chapter.
On good thing is that all the content can be found on 18
separate pages at the end of the book,
in an abbreviated version accommpanied with map.
Those pages are punched(perforated), so they can be
teared out of the book and taken around with you.

All in all, good book.
For more specific activities
(either climbing, protected paths scrambling or high alpine tours)
one should resort to dedicated guides and publications, though.
