Same size and construction as the ALPINE with a simplified harness to reduced weight. Yellow interior allows you to easily see the contents. Interior gear loops keep hardware close to your center of gravity and prevent the rack from migrating to the bottom of the pack. Features include internal pocket for Hydration Bladder, two ice tool attachments, side compression straps and ski slots, top pocket has two compartments. The miniature rucksack called "Manu" may be attached to the front to increase capacity. The length of the harness is not adjustable. Shoulder straps are contoured. The narrow waistbelt -- featuring small hidden pockets and gear loops -- will not interfere with a climbing harness.

Good mid sized pack.
climbs really well, lots of nice extras, gear loops inside the pack are great, don't know how i lived without them.
The double pockets in the top are very useful.
I would highly recommend this pack to anyone looking for a mid sized climbing pack.
As yet i do not have any dislikes which i hope continues. Well the only think is that it only comes in black, which for safety reason i don't really like but i wear a red jacket....
I already had a Manu (which was not the reason for buying the A.L) ready good idea.
Just remember this is a light weight pack those gram savings have come from things like the harness and and shoulder straps....so long days with a heavy loads are going to hurt.
Just one question (to the designers) why make the hydro port so damm tight an extra couple of mm would make life soooooo much easier.
