Reliable Unit
I have owned this headlamp for about 3 or 4 years. When I first got the unit I was very skeptical of the latching system, the AAA battery life, and the overall durability. I no longer have any concerns, this has been an awesome little unit. The batteries last a long time. They begin to dim when they start getting weak, so you have warning when they need changing.

This is not the brightest headlamp you can get by any means, but I've always found it plenty bright when I've used it. The on/off switch is workable with gloves. I really have no complaints, especially considering the weight and the price.
