Route Description


This route follows the crest of the cliffs along the river and leads to the two best vistas in the park being Hawk Point and Wissler's Run Overlook. The trail is only 0.55 miles in length, but when done with the Rhododendron Trail it provides a wonderful short hike with excellent views. Along the trail you'll find many clues to this areas volcanic past in the form of Olivine and Quartz crystal. This is an excellent short little hike.
