Thanks for taking the time to read my Sir Douglas trip report desaine, one of my favorite solo outings of all time. Just came off the Wapta Icefield last night after 3 days of summits and skiing...it is amazing how cold weather can wear you out so much faster than when I was ten years younger. Cheers!
I imagine this is really popular in summer with so many people going to the lookout.

I believe you are right Melinda, but it is not in any of the ski mountaineering/touring books even though it looked like to me quiet a few skiers go back to Sherbrooke Lake. Backcountry skiers access Niles Meadows via Sherbrooke as well. Cheers!
