| I got Audubon first, then headed over to Paiute. The traverse took about an hour: I got to Paiute around 9:30. Then I headed back the way I came. There were some dark clouds building as I got back to Audubon, but in the end it didn't rain. I passed quite a few hikers on the way back, only 2 others went to Paiute. I got back to the parking lot around 12:30. | |

| Came up the fun east ridge from Audubon, which can be kept at class 2+ if you skirt a few minor bumps on the ridge. Solid class 3 climbing on the ridge. Continued on to Toll and Pawnee in a minor snowstorm. | |

| Enjoyed lovely, near calm conditions as traversed from Audubon. Descent of south face was rough - snow was much steeper than it appeared from above. Had to face the slope and kick steps in as descended with the benefit of my ice axe. | |

| Climbed Audubon via southeast ridge, then over to Paiute, and then down Paiute's steep south face past the incomparable Blue Lake and five other lakes. All with my daughter... a supreme day in the mountains. | |

| Climbed with Shanahan96 and Jamie Nellis via Audubon. Fierce winds all morning had this one feeling more like early November! Luckily we were able to use some of the ridge bumps to shield us. | |

| scooted over to paiute via its traverse with audubon. there wasn't much scrambling but plenty of bumps along the ridge to hide on the south side from the wind. the better part of the climb. jamie | |

| Had climbed up Audubon and started across the ridge to Paiute. Got as far as the saddle between Audubon and Paiute when the weather changed from just fluffy clouds to unbroken gray clouds. So down the loose rock and gravel chute to the unnamed lake above Blue Lake. It started to rain, hail and thunder before we got to Blue Lake. By the time we got to treeline the storm had passed and the sun tried to make a comeback. So I guess I'll have to try Paiute again on another day. | |
