Voted 10/10 | ..but a shame about the exposure differences in the middle! Perhaps if you match the brightnesses of each individual picture in photoshop and then stitch together?
Great view nonetheless! I was on Ulrichshorn too in 2004, but all I saw was clouds ... Thanks for filling in the blanks for me (literally) :-)
Cheers,

Hasn't voted | Thank you very much, but my Photoshop know-how is very limited to the basics ;-) | | Posted Sep 17, 2007 8:38 am |

Voted 10/10 | Ah but it is really easy! Just open the individual photos in photoshop (if you have it, but any other picture editing program will do as well) and then adjust the brightness of the darker ones until they look similar to the others. Then you stitch them with your panorama program.
A better way would even using photoshop, and then in the menu: Image > adjustments > levels sliding the center balance of the graph around a bit. This avoids overexposing other parts of the picture. I can do (try) it for you if you want?
I'll look up a link about how those 'levels' work for you.
Cheers,

Voted 10/10 | This is a link about using the "levels" tool:

If you want me to do it for you, then you would have to send me the individual pictures. But as I said, it's really easy!
Cheers and good luck with it,
Rick
P.S. From reading Nikman's trip report I found out that I was in Saas Fee the same morning! | | Posted Sep 18, 2007 6:34 am |

Voted 10/10 | Just took the cable car up to mittel Allalin (very lazy).. I was with some friends from Australia and Germany who where over just for the weekend. Expensive as it was, it was worth every cent! And how lucky can you be with the weather on a weekend trip?? | | Posted Sep 19, 2007 3:38 pm |

Voted 10/10 | Yes, I can discern him.
I downloaded the pano and it is even more impressive when zoomed in considerably. I detected 5 other people somewhat below Nikman which I haven't seen before, and one halfway up to Nadelhorn. | | Posted Sep 17, 2007 5:10 pm |
