Pete, I did google your site for 'movie', 'video', etc. It was a laborious process that gives a large list of pages that contain the word "movie" or "video,"but very rarely have an actual link to a movie. For 2007 or earlier, those movies tend to show unidentifiable blobs, sometimes in slightly-larger-than-postage-stamp format from a digital camera, sometimes in scratchy low-res format from an analog source. Remember, I'm interested in movies from the earlier days. I originally specified 2005 or earlier, but broadened my search up to 2007. If you have a video from 2007 or pre-2007 that shows you as identifiable, please give us the link. Surely if you are so certain of yourself, you can do that? AND tell us at which time in the video we will be able to see an unambiguously identifiable image of you face.

Wow Pete, you sure are convincing people that you are a great guy. As always, you resort to nasty ad hominem when people call your BS. The reason I can't find unambiguous pictures in your pre-2007 videos or photos is either : 1) they aren't there, or 2) your website is really badly organized (I'll check the cached copy for updates). You keep accusing people of fraud, and your own material is sorely lacking in the proof that you demand of other people.

A member can ask to be deleted (as in this case), and then an action has to be taken by the elves. Not really an either/or question. It's never good to cut off actual contacts with humans, and use the web to satisfy a need for human interaction; it tends to make people paranoid, afraid to take chances.

For years, many of us tried to reach out to Pete. I guess we all felt that maybe we could break through to him. But there was a familiar pattern: once we appeared vulnerable, caring... he would lash out with outrageous zingers. My uneducated opinion is: he needs to be in control, when the self-doubt hits. But I finally realized: I am not the "Pete Whisperer."

Right now, something like Mopah would be way outside his comfort range. That's not a derogatory comment; it's a statement of the way things are.

Sad, again. I really do hope he gets some help.
