Gosh! how dare you nominate your own work! Have to agree though it's a great page so I second that nomination

Ok, I'll behave myself from now on... ;)
I think Vlado Vujisic's Durmitor and Prokletije pages both deserve some spotlight, too.

I saw Scott and his discovery of the arch featured in National Geographic's Adventure magazine. Why not feature his excellent page in recognition?

I am not sure if this page has been featured and I would not be surprised if it was. If so, why not the route?

I'm pretty sure we already featured the trip report about the discovery when it came up.

Yes, the article was featured. You could always do the area/range page instead. :D

Not that I would want to promote the page, but it would be nice if some SP members had some interest in the area and wanted to go out there with me instead of doing the normal 14er thing. It seems almost no one wants to go out there. :D

Anyway, how about featuring gjagiels page on this unknown beauty of a peak:

A spectacular summit that is almost never climbed.

Good suggestions. Thanks! :D

I beliee I've had Durmitor posted already. I've got the crud, but I'll check back later and if anyone wants to sort through past selections and let me know for sure, that would be fine.

I was a bit curious about Durmitor and went back all the way through the featured pages . Guess what: Outlaw Arch Canyon was already featured. As far as I remember TR and route or Area were up at the same time.

It's of no consequence to have it up again - my point is simply that we did not miss to feature it.

Gangolf-Thanks. I'm doing a better job at this than I thought! It takes considerable time to go back through the selections, and when you feel poorly, that's something no one wants to do. Usually I'll look at a page and I can remember-and I know I swore I had featured Durmitor previouly. The pictures and layout were hard to forget! In my state though, I was doubting myself (probably shouldn't have). Usually the number of hits is another clue for me, too.

Anyway, no harm done.

The Outlaw stuff deserves another look as well. NOW is the time to see these places before the heat of summer arrives.

TOC-Thanks for those links!

I did look up the past featured pages's list before recommending, just forgot to mention it in my post... Toc - thanks for the links!

Hello Aaron;

The photohiker has made some very interesting and appealing updates to his Bitterroot Mountains page. It would look very good featured on the front page. :)

This route: http://www.summitpost.org/route/390354/ ... raker.html

A good page from a new member deserving of encouragement and, at last, a Vancouver Island contribution from someone other than me.
