La Sportiva Nepal Evo GTX size

by Jaggie » Mon Mar 21, 2016 7:16 am

Hello there,

it has been many years I have been using only basic GTX shoes and hiked only up to 4000m. I would like to push my limits and upgrade my shoes as well.
However I have never owned any La Sportivas and therefore have no experience about the sizes. What's more I am currently based in Shenzhen/Hong Kong area and I have no chance to try the shoes on.
All I could find was La Sportiva Bushido in my area, which are very lightweight shoes and I cannot make any conclusion which size I should buy....because the only option for me is to shop them online.
My feet are measured as 42(EUR) and slightly narrow.
I thought 43,5 would be OK...but I am not sure if I can take any practical information from the situation in which the ideal BUSHIDO size were rather 43...
I hope someone can help me out with this matter.

For my Sportiva boots I usually go one size up from my dress shoes. Dress shoe 45 >> 46 Sportivas. Only exception is on my Expedition boots, they are a 46.5 because of the layered socks...
