I'll be available for 9 days of climbing in the Cordillera Blanca after my partner goes home to NY on July 28. I will have already been in Peru for 5 weeks at that point and will be fit and acclimatized. If I went to Peru and wanted to climb a bit in the Cordilleras (i.e. having ice tools, boots, crampons, 4 season tent etc.) and then wanted to stay a bit longer and do some more "touristy" travelling (e.g. Machu Piccu), what would you suggest I do with the climbing gear? Are there any safe storage options in Huaraz, Lima or somewhere else? I would also have the same question about Ecuador and Chile... Any ...
Two gringos and I will be climbing a number of peaks in Bolivia from June 16-July 5 at which time said two gringos will be flying back home. My flight is not until the 25th of July and I'd like to do some more climbing while I'm down there. If anyone is interested send me a pm.
