What's New in Wyoming

by Bob Sihler » Mon Jan 15, 2007 11:23 pm

I couldn't find a thread already started on this (only for 2006), so here goes. I hope it's not a duplicate!

Added to Bighorns: "Storm Shelter Mountain" http://www.summitpost.org/mountain/rock/260618/-storm-shelter-mountain-bighorn-mountains-wyoming.html

Also, an interesting article by Lolli-- posted 12/31, but that can slide for this thread, right?

Added a page for that famed ice climbing area near Cody. I don't know if it does the area any justice, but it's a start I guess.

I welcome any additions, changes, etc. and of course anyone who wants to take over ownership of or collaborate on the page or any of its child pages is welcome to do so ! (hint, hint Keith :) )

Two more Absaroka pages: Austin Peak http://www.summitpost.org/mountain/rock/313966/Austin-Peak.html and Peak 11,694 http://www.summitpost.org/mountain/rock/313965/peak-11-694.html

And two pages on the Great Divide Basin:
North Oregon Butte http://www.summitpost.org/mountain/rock/314961/North-Oregon-Butte.html
Continental Peak http://www.summitpost.org/mountain/rock/314962/Continental-Peak.html

When I get back from the beach in about two weeks, I'll put up an area/range page for the Great Divide Basin.
