Some of my older petzels had cracked and I was also looking for a replacement lamp. Not prepared to drop $80 on a light, I spontaneous picked up a cheapo, Eveready, $10 unit at the checkout counter of Home Depot. Has a red LED, and a super bright white LED, and runs on 3AAA batteries. It's worked quite well so far, but I wouldn't use it to night ride my mountain bike around here.
