Good times! Maybe you ask can Bob for the true slope (quietly tiptoes out...).

35º-40º. One of the easier couloirs, but still very fun. One axe should be enough.

Nice pictures, Laura!

If the snow stays in its current condition, I would say one axe, especially on the left side, where there were plenty of large suncups in which to rest, and small ones to make a fairly nice ladder. For me, it was tremendously fun to be in there, not very technically challenging yet. In fact, I was mostly bummed it wasn't longer!

As always, YMMV.

Harlan, you're a troublemaker... lol

Bob! Got your VM Saturday night, no worries. Sounds like Clark was fun! We'll have to go back to measure North Peak's right or left sides... ;-)

Nice photos. How was the rockfall on the left? I'm assuming they aren't flying down the couloir if it's still styrofoam conditions, but also that warm weather may be loosening them up on top.

There was plenty of debris on the left edge, and a fair amount scattered out a bit, making some of the bigger suncups/scallops along the way. Some mild shifting while I headed up, but nothing falling from up top (thankfully).

Anyone has been up there recently that could comment on the latest conditions? Thinking of heading out there this week-end...
