The Timex climber of all time, a living fossil, a genuine gentleman, Glen celebrates his 100th birthday this week. 200+ in attendance at Pasadena's University Club yesterday.

One can see that Mr. Dawson and Jules Eichorn were really just 'kids' compared with the seasoned greats like Clyde, Farquhar and Underhill, but they were certainly able to measure up and earn the respect and admiration of theirs and our generations.

Did any of your photos make the celebration?

At the last minute I grabbed a handful of prints and found a table to lay them out. Bob Cates from the local Sierra club put on a tremendous slide show and was able to use many of them. What a great time!
