Art for Conservation: G2 Gallery

by Princess Buttercup » Sat Jun 16, 2012 3:22 pm

For my friends and family in the SoCal area, my friend John Dittli will be part of a multi-photographer show this summer (along with Vern Clevenger, Andy Selters, and others) at the G2 Gallery in Venice. There is a reception on Saturday, June 30, from 6:30-9:00 pm, and a panel discussion on Sunday, July 1, at 3:30 pm.

Proceeds will benefit the Eastern Sierra Land Trust.

Here is more information regarding the gallery and the show.

Please head down and support these amazing artists, working hard to protect these areas we love so dearly.

Nice. Thanks for posting. Have seen some amazing work at the G2 gallery including Ansel Adams and Clyde Butcher. Looks like there will be some more great photos. Will definitely try to make it.

Wasn't John Dittli a ranger at the North Cascades National Park for some time?

He was indeed! He and his wife Leslie, both. He's an amazing person, a great friend, and I could sit around and talk story with him for days.

He took me ice skating on Crowley Lake last winter, and his photos and adventures are a constant source of inspiration for me. Now, if I could just move a *little* faster in order to keep up! :)
