For my friends and family in the SoCal area, my friend John Dittli will be part of a multi-photographer show this summer (along with Vern Clevenger, Andy Selters, and others) at the G2 Gallery in Venice. There is a reception on Saturday, June 30, from 6:30-9:00 pm, and a panel discussion on Sunday, July 1, at 3:30 pm.

Proceeds will benefit the Eastern Sierra Land Trust.

Wasn't John Dittli a ranger at the North Cascades National Park for some time?

He was indeed! He and his wife Leslie, both. He's an amazing person, a great friend, and I could sit around and talk story with him for days.

He took me ice skating on Crowley Lake last winter, and his photos and adventures are a constant source of inspiration for me. Now, if I could just move a *little* faster in order to keep up!
