Dear Hikers,

Hi everyone. I'm missing my 5 lb. Yorkie as of last week. He is black and tan, Neautered and has a black harness on and a tag with contact info on him. He is not microchipped.

I think he may have been taken by a bobcat or coyote. I live about 2 miles away from Brand park around Thompson Ave, San Fernando and Glenoaks.

The odd thing is there were no signs of Rusty anywhere after I tore apart the entire surrounding neighborhood. no blood or fur. I'm not sure if maybe he got away or was just totally taken back to an animals den.

I guess its just hard to believe that a large animal would travel that far and back but I guess anything is possible.

He was taken at 4:20 am and that something must have been quick and quiet in the dark.

I was hoping all you hikers out there might be able to keep an eye out. I would very much appreciate any help.
