When I click on his reference to my page, my page comes up. It is only when I click on My Profile that I get the following URL:http://www.summitpost.org/users/fred-spicker/2098
Thus I cannot get into my account, make changes or anything. I am using Firefox. All his stuff works just fine.

Okay - after upgrading and mucking EVERYTHING out, it finally works. JEEZ!

To help try things out for SPv3, I just created a new Mountain page.

After I submitted the page, I wanted to make a few changes so I went back to the "Edit Page" option. Many of the field boxes appear WAY off towards the right side of the edit screen. It looks bizarre.

Which page? And what browser (and version) are you using?

Last I heard Redwic was using IE8 (or 7). Redwic, please provide us a screen shot. These are extremely useful in helping us figure out what went wrong.

"Images" chapter now counts images wrongly. Before it displayed 12 images, now it displays 14. So, the message below gives a wrong information. For example: On this page:

http://www.summitpost.org/roterdspitze/830933

there are altogether 13 images. They are all displayed, but the message below says:
[ View Gallery - 1 More Images ]

Font size not scalable

Postby Yury » Wed Jan 30, 2013 12:00 am

I tried to increase a font size in IE8 and nothing worked satisfactory.
1. When I used Page >> Text Sized >> [Largest ... Smallest] font size was not changing.
Was it coded in purpose this way? Why?
2. When I tried to change "Zoom Level" (e.g. 200% to 100%) on a home page, font size was changing but a scroll bar apeared at the bottom because this page was getting too large.
Note: "Zoom" actually works OK in a forum.

Thanks for the report, but nothing will be done to fix this. :( This is because the CSS tells browser to display the font at a certain size which IE cannot over ride it. You will get the same problem on Mbpost.com, Mountain Project, Joomla.org, and many others. We would have to compromise everyone's font size to make this work. :x

Regarding point 2, that makes sense considering that your zooming in. Do yourself a favor and get a browser like Google Chrome or Firefox. They are much better! You will not encounter problems like these, they rarely ever crash (in comparison to IE), and the just straight out work better. You can easily import your bookmarks to. I know I sound like an advertiser, but I can't stress enough the importance of a good browser. It will make your life (using the internet) better, and the less folks who use old out dated browsers, the less head ache mess for us.

Thanks for finding this Vid. Templates have been changed to reflect 14 images instead of 12.

I'm saving up a bug list. I didn't report everything to you because I didn't want to overwhelm you. Fortunately it's not that big. :)

You've had this problem for a long time now. :? I think a test ought to be done on the test site to resolve this. I'll mark this in the bug list.

Why are trip reports that are under construction listed on the What's New page? They don't show up when you click on trip reports on the front page though.

It's definitely a defect and a violation of a government accessibility standard (it's typical for a newbie to hardcode a font size).

Why to be so negative?
Do you know who developed this CSS file?
Has this defect already been reported to them?
