Pictured here is Tieton Peak (7,768 ft), the climax of the outlier ridge approximately 1.8 miles NNE of Gilbert Peak. Tieton is pronounced like "tie-it-un". The peak is on the divide between the Tieton River to the north and Conrad Creek to the south. At bottom is part of the Tieton Glacier. Photo taken July 9, 1994.
