as known the phenomenon is due to the lack of rainfall which normally keep clean the sky!

there were no fires in surrounding! It is just pollution coming from Po basin!

What is more alarming

to me: it is 25th of December and there is no snow (as everywhere in the Alps)

I agree, i have never seen the Alps so dry in late December and the smog hanging in the sky is just the result of the lack of rainfall. In recent days some snowfall happened, but for the moment is a small thing...
