Hasn't voted | Thanks Alex. The birds are so gentle you can be very close to them. This one was probably 2 meters away. | | Posted Jul 7, 2007 11:40 am |

Hasn't voted | Thanks - I do - Latrabjarg (the most western bit of Europe (or Iceland for that matter). We spent several days among the puffins and other birds. | | Posted Jul 7, 2007 10:21 pm |

Voted 10/10 | cold smoked in Reykjavik, breast, and it tasted more or less like fish. Little did I know that I will see them again on cereal boxes, and then on SP. Maybe we should have stuck with :P hakarl instead... | | Posted Jul 12, 2007 12:27 am |

Hasn't voted | well might be able to rummage up a rotted shark photo too!!:)We did see puffin on many menus but after snuggling with them it was kind of hard to picture them as an hors d'oveuvre. | | Posted Jul 12, 2007 9:52 am |

Voted 10/10 | Our local host was doing the ordering and the only reason I still remember this appetizer so many years later is because of this "Wow, it wasn't a fish?" kind of surprise. Unfortunately it was a tight-schedule business trip so we never got to see the countryside. The "city anthropology" was pretty amazing too, though :) | | Posted Jul 12, 2007 7:29 pm |
