Rügen islandRügen is often said to be Germany's most beautiful island, and amongst the most beautiful of the Baltic sea.
There are many albums and pages on SP about areas on the sea. Rügen is not mountainous, neither has rock-climbeable sea-cliffs (however does have cliffs). But the island is far from flat and hilly in parts. Made of innumerable capes, peninsulas, dunes, chalk cliffs, dunes, marshes, and beaches of white sand, strewn with a dense network of marked trails, it is a paradise for hikers, and even more for cyclers (this is developped in MBPost).
