Racabusa (900m)

Racabusa (900m) meadows are placed at mid point of Stap - Veliko Rujno route. Hundreds of cattle use to be on pasture here till 50 years ago. Velebit is since deserted by humans and left over to nature again. Some scattered houses along the whole area witness of former life which became too tough in modern times. Right above is Golic (1424m). Right of it is Jelovacka Vrata pass, once an important passage to inner Velebit. Photo: Aleksandar Gospic
